To properly perform the Cat & Cow:

  • Start in tabletop, with your shoulders directly above your wrists and hips over your knees
  • Inhale deeply and arch your back (cow). Make sure to lift your chest and heart away from belly and push your tailbone to the sky.
  • Exhale and round back up (cat) drawing your belly into your spine and separating your shoulder blades.
  • Repeat 5 times

  • Keep your left foot planted and begin bending your left knee.
